Выражение "such a/an" служит для того, чтобы выделить/акцентировать (в английском это называется "emphasize"), но разумеется предлог a/an есть только в единственном числе (во множественном предлог пропадает). Если "such" испольуется в значении "this/thas type of...", то уже предлог не нужен.
